A concrete sealer is necessary if you have pattern imprinted concrete, block paving, concrete paving slabs,concrete flags that are coloured and most types of slab concrete  that need to be waterproofed to protect against  dirt, grease ,moss and weeds.

Waterproofing concrete with a concrete sealer has many uses,it stops water from impregnating the surface,it stops the loss of the colour placed on the concrete surface by wearing away the concrete sealer and not the concrete colour,it stops the growth of algae and weeds. It protects wet concrete against frost thus stopping eventual shailing and flaking of the concrete. Concrete sealers also stop contamination from car petrol and diesel fuel  from impregnating the concrete surface.

By waterproofing concrete you also have the benefit of making the surface less slippery and promoting a surface that is much easier to clean. Paving block sealers are important to protect your investment from contaminates such as oil and moss. Paving block sealers have many benefits over untreated block paving ,rather like  wax on a car offering protection against the elements providing a barrier of resin making it easier to remove marks etc.
